How to adapt a function to function.apply(this, arguments)
I’m trying to create my own module that extends the window.
I have a function that works with an array of objects.
For example:
var myArray = [
{ object: “foo” },
{ object: “bar” },
{ object: “foobar” },
];
function someFunction() {
var foo = this.object,
bar = this.object.toUpperCase(),
myArray.forEach(function(element, index) {
if (element.object === foo) {
element.object = foo.toUpperCase();
}
});
console.log(myArray);
}
myArray.forEach(someFunction.apply(this, arguments));
The idea is to allow the user to change the array of objects using my function. The problem is that I don’t know how to make myFunction.apply return the modified array.
Currently I get an error saying “TypeError: Object # has no method ‘forEach'”.
How to do this?
Thanks.
A:
It seems like this code should work:
myArray.forEach(myFunction.
