.Neural substrates of a stop signal reaction time task: a functional magnetic resonance imaging study.
Aging is associated with an increase in the number of errors of omission (i.e., the failure to inhibit motor responses to a stop signal) that is thought to reflect impaired selective attention. To further understand the neural substrates of selective attention, we used functional magnetic resonance imaging to characterize the neural circuitry that regulates the reaction time to a stop signal. Using a stop signal task, we found that a region of the dorsal anterior cingulate cortex (dACC) activated significantly more strongly in young adults than in older adults when the stop signal was presented. We also found a significant correlation between the degree of activation of the dACC and the stopping signal reaction time. Further, we found that the dACC also plays a role in response inhibition as measured by event-related potentials. These findings suggest that the dACC plays a role in the response inhibition and working memory processes necessary for the control of reaction time in a stop signal task.Q:
Javascript click twice or more is executing actions
I’m making a script where it should have 2 buttons when you click them, it should launch a random number generator and it should continue generating numbers until the user cancels or clicks another button.
The issue is, when I click the buttons once, it launches the random number generator 2 or 3 times and if I click them a couple of times, it launches a lot more times (up to 200).
I have no idea why it is happening and I really need help as I’ve been coding for a while but I am totally stuck at this point. Here’s my code so far:
var max = 100;
var min = 0;
$(document).ready(function() {
$(‘.class1’).click(function(){
// ran
