AutoCAD For PC
All the versions of AutoCAD since 1985 have included engineering functionality as a key differentiator. Key features include 2D and 3D drafting, an integrated 3D modeler, several drafting tools, advanced modeling tools, and collaborative options. AutoCAD has since developed a large and growing user base, particularly among architects, contractors, and engineers. AutoCAD 2016 supports the drafting of 2D and 3D drawings, has a new user interface that includes a ribbon design and 3D navigation, and supports the creation of schematic diagrams, animations, and virtual reality content. History AutoCAD began as a desktop app for the Apple II series microcomputer in 1982. The first version was a product of a team at Control Data Corporation (CDC) in Palo Alto, California. The original name of the software was DynaDraw II. In June 1983, Autodesk was incorporated to develop and market AutoCAD and other products. The original chairman and CEO of Autodesk was John Warnock, who had left CDC and began developing CAD software. Autodesk is a wholly owned subsidiary of a Japanese company, SoftBank, and operates from offices in Palo Alto, California. The original product included two dimensional (2D) drafting and two dimensional 3D modeling. The software was written in C and released as shareware. By 1985, three other products had been introduced: DWGplot for plotting curves and surfaces, DWGbuild for block construction and fast revision, and QuickCAD, which was more user-friendly than earlier CAD applications. In 1987, Autodesk released AutoCAD R11. AutoCAD R11 was the first version of the software to include native 3D modeling. AutoCAD’s original 2D modeling capabilities were integrated with native 3D capabilities. The 3D object (thing) model in AutoCAD is a discrete 3D entity, and it can be manipulated as one, similar to a paper model. The first version of AutoCAD for Windows (starting in 1988) introduced a graphical user interface (GUI) and allowed the user to create 3D objects (things) in a two-dimensional (2D) space. The 2D drawing and 3D model were maintained as separate entities and could be combined in various ways in each version of AutoCAD. Autodesk released two more products, AutoCAD for Windows 2 (starting in 1992), and AutoCAD LT (starting in 1992). The

OLE Automation AutoCAD also supports COM automation, or OLE Automation, which enables AutoCAD users to automate the drawing process using AutoCADs common object model. With OLE Automation, you can create custom actions, scripts, macros and dialogs. In short, AutoCAD is open for automation in all aspects of its use. Open standards AutoCAD is developed with open standards including XML, XML schema, DXF, and OLE. Because of this, it can be easily used to interchange with other software, share data, and to exchange data between an AutoCAD model and third-party tools that support these standards. Interoperability AutoCAD can export and import data to and from other CAD software, including (but not limited to) Autodesk 3ds Max, Autodesk 3ds Max 2017, Autodesk 3ds Max 2019, Autodesk 3ds Max 2012, Autodesk 3ds Max 2010, Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk AutoCAD LT, Autodesk Inventor 2013, Autodesk SketchBook Pro, and Autodesk Project 2013. It can also import data from other CAD software, including (but not limited to) FDM 4.0, FDM 8, FDM 2018, and Grasshopper, as well as third-party CAD packages, such as Geomagic Touch. It can also import and export data in 3ds Max Vray, RenderMan and 3ds Max. Training To help users learn how to use the software, there are a number of instructional resources available. Tutorials are available for AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT. Through these, users can access Help in AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT. Other training materials are available through Autodesk University, which includes a DVD set. There is also free training available through Quick Training, which includes over 8 hours of downloadable training. A free online training course is also available through Autodesk Education, which includes over 90 hours of training. To encourage users to help in the development of AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT, Autodesk provides an annual Community Innovator Award. This award is given to the “most compelling innovation by a third party that helps drive the Autodesk product innovation roadmap.” This award consists of $10,000 USD, a feature named after the winner, a written acknowledgement from the Aut af5dca3d97

You can choose between solid fill, gradients, and patterns. Create and edit fills with multi-step action. Select a fill type, then click Create to fill the selection or edit the fill as you would any other shape. Use the Fill dialog to change fill options and easily create complex fills. You can rotate fills and distort them, add parameters, and perform any necessary transforms before applying them to your model. The Fill dialog is the key to creating complex fills quickly, such as curved or irregular fills. (video: 2:10 min.) Fill opacity is also adjustable. Apply fill opacity to shapes as you draw them. Choose different opacity settings for the shape layer, path, or object. (video: 2:30 min.) Extend: You can use fill opacity to create fills with varying opacity levels. This helps to make fills more visually dynamic. Choose a shape and click Extend to draw a filled shape, choosing an opacity level for that shape. (video: 2:30 min.)
